Portal™ provides a central repository for a company to store, manage

Static,
Dynamic and Variable Data Documents.
Static:
Documents that require no changes and are ready to print. These
are usually trial mail campaigns, one-off brochures and the like.
Ordering static documents is quick and easy when you use our FTP widget
to upload files into the SignatureConnect system. At that point, you
can provide the specifics of the order or speak to a customer
representative. After you upload your documents, they are automatically
processed through our prepress and QC departments and then sent to
print.
The next
two document types empower organizations to customize,
personalize and target documents in unprecedented fashion.
Dynamic:
Documents that can be used over and over again. Dynamic
documents are pre-approved templates that can be accessed through our
Marcomm Web Portal and dynamically updated by personnel, 24/7. A user
defines which parts of a document can be changed and which parts of a
document cannot be altered. This ensures compliance with all branding
and regulatory rules. Once it is decided which parts of these documents
can be ‘touched’ by an end user, it can be defined how those items can
be altered. Templates can have very simple or inticate business rules
or behaviors assigned to them. Because of the variety of behaviors
available, updates can simple alterations to text and graphics. Changes
can include document resizing (great for ads), choosing different [data
base pre-loaded] text blocks, or free form editing. Once a staff member
has customized a document and it has been approved, it goes straight to
print and on to shipping— drastically reducing labor time/cost and
expediting time-to-market.
Variable Data:
Documents that require automated text, picture or size
changes. Variable data documents are used for one-to-one, targeted or
localized marketing on a grand or limited scale. This is not your
fathers’ version of variable data. The business rules or behaviors that
SignatureConnect can assign to variable data documents can be simple or
very sophisticated— allowing data base driven, personalized
communications. Variable data docs are also used for ‘versioning’ of
ads for placement in many different publications. We can swap out
pictures and text according to your needs on a local level and resize
your ads as required to meet publication specs.
